Snow Patrol – Run

Estos chicos escoceses han alcanzado finalmente algo de éxito en España tras no pocos discos, ya que Eyes Open, con el que han conseguido algo de reconocimiento por aquí es su cuarto álbum. Su disco anterior, Final Straw, me gusta tanto o más que el último, y tiene canciones tan buenas como Wow, Chocolate, Run o la pegadiza Spitting games.

Al principio se llamaban Shrug, luego Polarbear y finalmente se cambiaron el nombre a Snow Patrol, con el que han conseguido más éxito (también influyeron los cambios en la formación y el cambio de discográfica, que les ayudó a promocionarse un poco más).

Su estilo es rock-pop con un aire muy británico, en la línea de Coldplay o U2, banda de la que fueron teloneros en el tour de Vertigo.

La canción que voy a poner, Run, es del penúltimo disco, y me parece preciosa, tanto la letra como la música, y en especial la parte del estribillo.
